A friend of mine recently sent an email to me with one of Gordon Ramsay’s omelete cooking recipes, with all the BAD language included, I’m sure you have seen it too.
With all the hype about Gordon Ramsay’s TV shows going on I decided to start watching the bad language or some people might say foul language real life TV show.
Take out the language and I’m a fan.
So here’s my wrap of the shows,.Can you relate this to your business?
1. At the start of the TV show Ramsay samples the service and menu.
(At ibalance we call this reviewing your business, whereby the staff and owners are reviewed and the financials are benchmarked.)
2. The next stage Ramsay talks to the staff and owners and tells them how bad they did.
(At ibalance we meet with the owners and report on the review in a formal and detailed manner, and forget about the past and look forward to the future)
3. He then gets into the kitchen and picks on every thing from food hygiene to the tools of trade.
(ibalance will site visit and inspect your premise giving you real life solutions)
4. Its now time for the staff and owners to bond, always a little game or some down right face to face talking, (all with the foul language)
(ibalance will give it to you straight what you need to do now and make sure you get on with it)
5. The next stage is to do some quick knee jerk marketing, to fill the place up, and everytime the business fails to handle the full house.
(ibalance marketing is carried out in a sustainable manner and yes some quick fixes may be needed)
6. Last but not least Ramsay yells and screams (and some do need it) and then leaves, returning in 4-6 weeks and hopefully the business has improved.
(ibalance will work with you until all facets of your business are improved)
Don’t get me wrong the show is a hit and still growing , but would you like to be on TV getting abused???? Any way I’m still going to watch it.
So how can you get the ibalance theory practiced on you. ibalance runs regular seminars on exactly the above.
Working with hundreds of businesses over the years, most business owners do not own a business, the business owns them, and in some cases they have an expensive job.
Recently ibalance ran a seminar on "Do You Own a Business, or An Expensive Job?" .
The seminar was a sell out, and special guests Dean Porter and Shaun Driscoll from WA Assett, The Bathroom Renovators, told there story warts and all.
The seminar received raving reviews:
"Excellent real life business experience from WA Assett guys, its a must for all business owners."
